AMAZON.COM should not provide my email address to others (when my purchase order is fulfilled by someone other than Amazon)

    Should do this

Google Checkout is the first I’ve seen to conceal their members’ email addresses from third-parties. Amazon could provide third parties an email address that redirects to my email address (and allow me to respond to the third party on Amazon’s site if I don’t want to expose my email address).

    What do you think?

How likely is this to happen?
